Watercolor Painting Level 2

Thursday, April 246:00—7:30 PMCommunity RoomMillbury Public Library128 Elm Street, Millbury, MA, 01527

Join us as we continue our watercolor journey beyond the basics! In this class, we will continue to build on the watercolor techniques established in the beginner class. We will use professional-grade supplies to create projects as we expand our knowledge of value, color theory, composition, atmospheric perspective, charging, glazing, etc.

Note that this is the same curriculum as the previous Level 2 class, so we ask that anyone who has already taken the class please refrain from signing up again to give others a chance. Thank you!

PREREQUISITES: Students must have attended a beginner watercolor class or have equivalent experience/knowledge. Students should be familiar with water control, value, basic color theory, washes, glazing, and other basic watercolor techniques.

ATTENDANCE: Please only sign up if you are able to attend all four classes, as each builds on the previous and projects are worked across multiple classes. The first class is mandatory, as per the instructor.

SUPPLIES: Students should bring a notebook to class. All other supplies will be provided.

Registration for this event opens Thursday, March 20 at 12:00 PM.
